In 2014, only 38% of companies have used flex hours of start and end work system – according to surveys of the Ministry of Economic of Poland.

Companies may use flex hours of start and end work system in two ways:

  1. Each employee can begin the work-day at various hours each day,
  2. The work-day’s hours are defined in time-frames, that is, the employee can begin the work-day during given period of time.

For employees, flex hours of start and end work means that they can plan their work-time more freely (as in the work-live balance concept).

For companies, it’s a flexible task-orientation, which can reduce the amount of overtime hours.
Companies that practice flex hours of start and end work observe an improvement of competitiveness and general state of business .
Those observations are consistent with experience of enterprises in other countries that use such methods: Germany, Czech, Slovakia.

Thus, what’s the cause of such low turnout in Poland?

One might say, it’s due to concern of employees who, according to the Labor Law, must give a consent to apply flex hours work system to them.
The modest familiarity to the work-frame among the employers is also an immense factor of such state of affairs.
To our believe, the flex hours of work is a modern and beneficial time-system for an employee as well as the company.

Therefore, onPoint endorse this solution.
